From the beginning of our activity, we have avoided solid fuels for space heating to reduce our environmental impact. Our production and office hall is a modern building with very low energy demand, which was one of the key assumptions for our architect.
The heat transfer coefficients of all external partitions are better than required by current regulations. We achieved this by over-insulating external walls and ceilings and using windows and doors with triple glazing and high thermal insulation. Thanks to heat recovery, the building is mainly heated with energy recovered from production processes, supported only slightly by gas heating. Underfloor heating across the entire surface provides a comfortable temperature while reducing overall energy consumption.
We do not use water in technological processes. Almost all raw materials we use, including aluminium, polyethylene foam, cardboard and plastics, are recyclable and verified within the BDO system, which complies with EU environmental policy.
We constantly review our solutions to ensure their economic effectiveness. At the same time, we aim to minimise the amount of waste generated and further reduce our impact on the natural environment.
